Week Without Driving

Schuylkill Connects is excited to announce we have been awarded a “Week Without Driving” mini-grant from America Walks!  Learn more here WWD Schuylkill Press Release

The Week Without Driving is an initiative promoted nationally by AmericaWalks , in Pennsylvania by the Transit for All PA coalition, and in Schuylkill County by Schuylkill Connects (in partnership with Schuylkill Transportation System).

The campaign raises awareness of the often-ignored need for a range of transportation options for people who do not drive. It highlights the value of safe, accessible, and inviting connected networks for people traveling on foot, in a wheelchair, by bike, or on public transit. This year, it will take place across the country from Monday, September 29, through Sunday, October 5.

Join our Schuylkill Week Without Driving Scavenger Hunt to learn more about active transportation and experience navigating the county without a car.
