Let’s Get Outdoors in the 570!
Spend 570 hours getting outdoors over the next year.  Track your hours on this 3rd annual 570 GO tracker.  Save your ink and pick up a copy of the tracker at our office (11 E. Main Street, Schuylkill Haven.  Call before stopping: 570-622-6097).  Finally, send a self addressed stamped envelope to Schuylkill Connects, 11 E. Main Street, Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972 to have one (or more) sent to you.

In 2022, PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (PA DCNR) surveyed Pennsylvanians across the state about outdoor recreation. The top reasons people don’t recreate outdoors include: not having anyone to go outdoors with, not knowing how to do an outdoor activity, not being able to afford equipment or admissions, and not knowing what there is to do. 570GO was created to bridge these barriers by connecting participants with
events, classes, and low/no-cost resources.

Start any time between May and May.  Note your start date on the tracker and do the best you can.  We encourage an average of 11 hours a week (570 hours over 52 weeks in a year).  Return between March 31 and May 30, 2027 to receive a prize!
